Surfing Life 303 is our homage to the road. Not any old road, nor any road in particular, but to the concept of going on the road, hitting it if you will, heading out into the great unknown because, well, because what else are you going to do?
We follow Mick Fanning around the world as he films his Missing project with Taylor Steele, and finds the inspiration to make his world title run; we return home to Maine and find not the American dream, but the American cream. The Se7en Signs project continues on in Tasmania, a ninja-like team of Aussie freesurfers and groms hit up Japan’s southernmost island, Okinawa, and Grant “Twiggy” Baker throws himself into waves and locales we want nothing to do with in South Africa.
We also chat to Tyler Wright just after she comes second in the world, get yogic with Dean Morrison and put together a little practical guide to loading up your car and getting the heck out of here.
