Each magazine subscription has specific terms and conditions, check the item details for more information. Unless otherwise stated these are the general terms and conditions for shopping at the Surfing Life online store:
New subscriptions will commence with the next issue of the magazine, providing your order is received and processed prior to that issue of the magazine going on sale.
A subscription purchased through on our online shop is on an automatic renewal basis, which means on the anniversary of your subscription your card will be debited for another year. If you want to opt out of this you can do so in your account settings, failing that, you can contact us directly to cancel a subscription at any time and receive a refund on any unsent issues.
Any free subscription gifts and draws (unless otherwise stated) are available to Australian residents only and while stocks last. Generally gift style, colour and sizes vary and are limited.
Subscription offers expire at the time the next issue of the magazine goes on sale OR at the time stock has run out (whichever comes first).
Books, Gifts & Merchandise
If you order an item from the Surfing Life online store and it is delivered damaged or defective we will replace it.
Please send a photograph or scan of the damaged item to email@example.com to arrange this.
We are unable to offer subscriptions and/or standard mail shipping to delivery addresses in South Africa due to the problems with postal deliveries in this country. We apologise for any inconvenience. Single issues or merchandise can be sent via courier shipping only to South Africa.

Q: When will my subscription commence?
We start you with the very next issue, but because our magazines are not monthly, and depending on when your order was received, your first issue might be a little while away yet, so please contact us directly (firstname.lastname@example.org) to commence your subscription with the latest issue, and we simply deduct the issue from your subscription. You can also check your confirmation email after your order has been processed for further terms and conditions.
Q: I want to subscribe/renew, how can I do it?
To place an order log onto www.surfinglife.com.au you will need a Visa or Mastercard to process your order online. If you get stuck feel free to email us at email@example.com. along with which publication you’re interested in and your contact details so we can get back to you.
Shipping – Subscriptions
Standard Post (Australia Post) – Subscription Terms and Conditions Only
Australian Magazine subscriptions are dispatched a week before scheduled on sale in newsagents and are dispatched from Queensland. Delivery address in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria generally take between 2-5 business days to be delivered, with Western Australia Northern Territory, South Australia and Tasmania taking up to 7 working days. Delivery is by standard post which is not trackable. Please refer to the Australia Post website for full terms and conditions, and more detailed delivery times to your post code.
International (NZ, ASIA, Rest Of World)
International subscription magazines are dispatched from Sydney or Queensland, unless notified. This is a non-traceable air-mail service; therefor Ink & Pixel Media cannot take responsibility for items that are not delivered.
Shipping – Merchandise
Australia Post eParcel (Standard Option)
Australia Post’s eParcel service is a trackable delivery method, which requires a signature on delivery.
If the receiver is not home to accept the order Australia Post will leave the parcel in a safe and take a photo of it, or advise that the parcel is at a local post office for collection. All orders are dispatched from Queensland. Orders processed on weekends or public holidays will be sent out the next available business day, unless stated otherwise (for Australian orders). East coast orders usually take between 2-5 working days for delivery, with far northern and western states taking up to 7 working days.

Express Post (Express Option) – Within Australia
Australia Post Express delivery service is available for Australian delivery addresses.
Orders processed on weekdays before 12pm (noon EST) will be sent out within the same business day, dispatched through Australia Post from Queensland. Orders can take up to 2 business days to be delivered to metro areas. Please refer to the Australia Post website for full terms and conditions, and Express Post delivery times to your post code (Lodgement point is Queensland 1).
International Air-Mail (Standard Option)
Product orders are air freighted from Australia to ensure timely delivery wherever you are in the world.
We endeavour to process and send your order within three business days. Items are dispatched to Surfing Life’s international carrier and air-freighted to your country of delivery, then inserted into the postal system of your country for standard delivery. Shipping times vary according to destinations and customs clearance. To help gauge delivery times, it can take up to 7 business days to be delivered in a rural part of New Zealand or Asia, and up to 15 business days to be delivered to the west-coast of the Americas, or Europe.
DHL International Courier (Express Option)
This is a traceable and premium courier service air freighted from Australia to anywhere in the world.
Orders processed on weekdays before 12pm (noon EST) will be dispatched on the same business day with DHL from Queensland. Items will be delivered within 3 business days to NZ and up five days to the Americas, Asia or Europe in metro areas. Delivery times are subject to customs clearance. Unless otherwise stated in a product’s description page or terms and conditions, shipping for products purchased on the Surfing Life online store works in the following way:
Freight costs are calculated, using an Australia Post calculator, based on the weight of the products you’re ordering and your location.
Freight is added when you are checking out. Changing the delivery address when checking out will cause the freight price to change.
Subscription prices are inclusive of freight costs, except where a free gift is included, in which case the freight cost is calculated (based on the weight of the gift, and your location) at check-out.
