About Advertising

As most of the digital world fixates on digital audiences, there’s a valuable and often overlooked commodity that is intrinsic to print; quality audiences and meaningful connections. Surfing Life connects with a highly engaged audience who depend on us, often daily, for content that helps them get the most out of their surfing life.

We do this by publishing six issues a year (bi-monthly), each totally focused on a single topic, formulated around the five core pillars of the surfing experience: Surf Travel, Surf Culture, Waves, Technique,  Surfboards and Surfers. This ‘more focused and more informed’ publishing approach allows us to deliver editorial content of exceptional quality, depth and substance. Content that surfers value, seek out and are prepared to pay for. To surfers Surfing Life is a Need, not a Want.

We do digital. We have a thriving social media following and this very website, but our focus is on print because in the world of surfing, surf magazines have the credibility, authority and timelessness that no digital pixel can replace. It’s a refreshing counterbalance to the fast-paced world we live in – just like surfing.

To round out the media offering, Surfing Life also has its own TV show called The Paddle Out. A super fun, interview style show running on Fuel TV to a global audience, with amazing stories from surfing’s illuminati.

About Content

Lystra Bisschop
Award-winning writer and proud Indigenous Australian, Lystra (or “Lys” for those freaked out at pronouncing wacky names) loves surfing local breaks on the Gold Coast. Her drive to see both female and First Nations peoples have a larger voice in mainstream surf media is essential, as well as developing young and new writers by nurturing them through the editorial process (from developmental editing to print).

About Your Order

If you’ve bought a magazine, book, tee shirt etc., that hasn’t arrived or something’s not 100% right, contact Angela, a human, living on the Gold Coast, not a digital chatbot.
