This is a story which will resonate with every core surfer the world over. No matter what we ride. We all remember that exact moment in time when surfing and the ocean grabbed us and demanded 100% of our time, thoughts and everything else. Once surfing is in our blood, very few have been able to get it out.

For Masami Yaguchi, a kid born smack in the middle of the concrete jungle of Tokyo his journey to Byron Bay where he now lives and shapes is a little bit different.

Masa recently premiered at the Byron Bay Surf Festival as an official selection film.
