We will make you a better surfer. That’s the promise behind each issue of Surfing Life. We publish 6 issues based on the 6 pillars of the surfing experience - Surf Travel, Surf Culture, Waves, Technique, Surfboards and Surfer - each issue dedicated to that subject alone, providing the substance, depth and authority that will have a direct impact on your surfing. But we’re more than just a bloody great surf mag, Surfing Life is active across six media channels (print, social, online, e-newsletters and events), making it one of the most influential, relevant and in-demand surf brands in Australia.

This board is a good all-rounder made for performance surfing. It has a full rocker that allOws the board to surf tight in the pocket, and access a lot more areas on the wave face. The rails are a little harder through the tail, so it can grovel easily on smaller waves and the new bottom contours help make it go fast and maintain the drive.
It went a bit different with the new adjustments and I developed this board based on feedback more from customers, than team riders. I’ve then passed it on to team riders who have noticed the board’s improvements and love it.

This board definitely is a classic modern shorty with all the volume in the right places. I surfed this in some pretty solid conditions, where I was able to knife under the lip for some nice tubes. So, yeah, you can get barrelled pretty well on it and who doesn’t want to get barrelled? I was also able to put it on rail and it was really nice. You could really drive through your turns and it held well. If the goal was to design a shorty that you could walk in, grab off the rack and go surf it, these guys certainly have achieved that.
