What would 11-year-old you do if you scored a wildcard to a QS6000 event? And on top of that, being interviewed on national breakfast television.

Would you freeze up? Utter something inconherent and then run and hide?

We probably would have. However we’re nothing like Sabre Norris, the 11-year-old surfing and skating sensation who is just as comfortable giving a live interview as she is landing a 540 aerial on a full sized halfpipe.

So when she did get the opportunity to talk to the likes of TV celebrity Karl Stefanovic, Sabre proceeded to talk about how her Olympic medallist father is overweight and how she doesn’t mind coming last because she will still take home $250 – which she will then splurge on donuts (just don’t tell Sally Fitz).

Watch the hilarious interview above. We can’t wait to see what Sabre does when she hits the water in round three against none other than Sage Erickson.
