FOR THIS YEAR'S RUBBERFEST »
WE LEFT BEHIND THE PROS AND RECRUITED AN ENTIRE CLUB. THE RESULT? SEE FOR YOURSELVES!

Ask any of the crew who surf it, Werri Beach gets cold. Nor-easter upwellings are common in summer and autumn – heck we got a taste of one during Testing. And in winter, when the SW gale blows from Treefs of the local area, you damn well NEED a good wetsuit.

So who better to rip through a dozen of Rubberworld’s finest than this splendid crew of grassroots Australian clubdom? We called Werri Boardriders’ club secretary, Dave Hunt, and he threw the dragnet over Gerringong. The gang responded like the champs they are and away we went, chest zips, internal carpet, neoprene taping and all.
