Two Days Of Pipe Madness

Monday, 11 February 2013

At what point do you become so comfortable surfing Pipe that you decide to paddle out on a longboard with a shortboard in tow, wait for a second reef set, take off on the longboard, bottom turn and then jump onto your shortboard? Well, for most of us, that time will never come but Jamie O'Brien decided that this was the day.

Dylan Roberts put this clip together of two days, January 21 and 22, of Pipe when it was big, ugly and simply uninviting. Kelly Slater, Mason Ho, Reef McIntosh, Mark Healey and Jamie O'Brien provide the entertainment.
