Johnny Gannon's School For Canons

Thursday, 28 February 2013

Taj Burrow won the Quiksilver Pro last year and is undoubtably one of the favourites coming in to the 2013 season. On just his second year on tour, back in 1999, TB came second in the world. It's a result he matched again in 2007, though the title still proves elusive and continues to fuel his passion.

With Kelly Slater turning 41 last week and surfing better than ever, the path to a long and fruitful life on tour has been clearly defined, and Taj is going to do all he can to threaten for the title for many a year to come. Taj will be the first to admit he took life easily when he first came on the scene, but these days, like all of his tour mates, Taj is a fit human who lifts far more weights than burgers.

Johnny Gannon is not just an Internet sensation and the star of every webcast, he is Taj's trainer, the guy assigned with keeping TB trim, taut and terrific. As well as being a magnificent chunk of steel Gannon has just launched a website aimed at taking your surfing performance to the next level, and increasing the longevity of your life in the sea.

If you're a surfer, and you care about health and fitness, you should head to to check out Johhny's web workouts, and watch him put Taj thorugh his paces.
