Having been in business over 26 years now, the Tavarua Island Resort crew know these waters and waves intimately, and they pride themselves on delivering a safe and guided surf and water-sport experience. Regular and family-size bures (rooms) are available and all come with AC, ceiling fans and private bathrooms.

expedition essentials

hardware: Ideal quiver would combine the lot, including a small performance board, medium big-wave board and large gun, or longboard. BYO ding repair kit too.
non-surf: Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. It gets toasty!
medical: There are top-notch medical facilities on the island and a medivac procedure in place for when necessary. No inoculations currently required.
