hardware: Your normal board times two and one bigger board for the big stuff. BYO ding repair stuff.
non-surf: A good attitude, as some things won’t always run to plan. Some rupiah, to buy things in the islands from the locals, or at their shop outposts. Your own medical kit… Who was it that said, “Always be prepared?”
medical: They’ve got a fairly comprehensive kit on board for minor cuts, lacerations and common sports injuries. See your family doctor for advice on any inoculations, as everyone’s ideas are different. Best bet is to take out Sure Save Travel Insurance with STC or Cover More Travel Insurance. Both have Medivac components.
