Liquid Destination

All aboard the Nautilus One for a Maldivian experience with a difference. Liquid Destination will take you into the lesser-explored atolls of this exotic region, and make sure you return home with photos and footage to match (or nullify) all your tall tales of shredding success. Always the first boat to fully book, so get in quick!

the basics

LD offers 10, 11 or 14 night trips, with a max of 12 guests on the boat. Accommodation is in eight cabins, three with double beds, two with single beds and three with bunks (bottom bunks are double beds). All rooms have ensuites and hot showers, as well as aircon. There’s a telephone, Internet, TVs, DVDs, a 40-foot Dhoni for fishing, and also a 12-foot tender for running around in.

expedition essentials

hardware: Two short boards exactly the same as you usually ride (a back-up in case of breakage) and one fun board for something different to ride, or a bigger wave board if you’re not comfortable on your normal short board in big stuff.
non-surf items: iPod, snorkelling gear and a fishing rod.
medical: Each island/break has a doctor on it and in extreme cases, seaplane evacuation is on hand at all times. There’s a comprehensive first aid kit on-board. No inoculations are mandatory, although tetanus is often a good idea.
