Eight guests is perfect, and although they can accommodate more, eight is the most comfortable on the boat and in the water. As it is a remote area, JD comes with all safety equipment: Satellite phone, GPS depth sounder, flares, EPIRB, VHS/HF/27meg radios, life raft, life jackets, safety harnesses and man-overboard equipment. Also a zodiac tender with outboard.

hardware: A normal short-board, a mid-sized board and a larger board for the paddle and drop at One Palm and Apocalypse. Ding repair kit too; the reefs can pack a punch!
non-surf: A good book, iPod and a sense of adventure!
medical: Travel insurance is compulsory. Helicopter and fast boat are available for evacuation, dependent on extent of injury and weather conditions. No mosquitoes on the boat, although hepatitis/tetanus shots are a good idea. Other travel injections and medication are up to the individual, none are currently recommended.
