Andy Irons Forever

The Governor of Hawaii announced that 13 February would forever be known as Andy Irons Day.

Andrew Shield nailed this shot from a chopper over South Straddie in 2008, sitting next to Kai Neville who was filming for Stranger Than Fiction. This was the last wave of AI's section, he took off, stood bolt upright through a six foot keg, came out and dropped his shoulder into this huge layback, then stomped an alley-oop on the end section. A perfect 10 in any heat in any contest in the world.
