Today the North Shore swell arrived earlier than expected, and after a bit of morning sickness the marquee spots have turned it on. As everyone finds a welcome wave Andrew Shield followed the crew to Gas Chambers and Sunset for a few snaps.

ASL managed to pin Jamie O'Brien down at his house at Pipe just long enough to get an interview with him. Check out the first installment here.
