Creatures signed the Maui surfer in September 2009 and have been working closely with Barger on the design which reflects the full package of power, style and flare he is reknowned for. The 2009 World Junior Champion's traction will be available in Australia and the USA from the 20th June. Creature's upcoming 2011 range will be available in Australia from July 1st.

Barger had this to say about his new traction, “I’m so stoked on how my pad looks, can’t wait to get those under my feet. I’m loving the design and that big kick! Psyching!!”

Barger joins a star studded international line up which features 2 x ASP Men’s World Champion Mick Fanning, 3 x ASP Women’s World Champion Stephanie Gilmore, Dusty Payne, Ry Craike, Clay Marzo, Aaron Cormican as well as juniors Garrett Parkes, Andrew Doheny, Nat Young and Koa Smith.
