Last week Newcastle lad Tim Mouton and his mates headed to Panaitan Island with Just Dreaming Surfaris.

It was the young environmental consultant’s first trip up north. After losing his Indo virginity he’s hungry for more – so hungry he’s already booking a return trip.
“Ah, mate! It was so awesome,” explains Tim, still sunburned from his recent adventures. “We got One Palm on. I went out there and scored the best backside barrels of my life. It’s a wave you can’t make a mistake on, but one good one out there is enough.”

It wasn’t all life threatening barrels though. “Probably the best sessions we had were out at Napalms,” Tim says. “It’s a lot more forgiving but you can still get some awesome shacks, and you won’t die if you mess up.” Always a plus.

Just Dreaming is one of the area’s only charter boats and Tim says the only other surfers he saw the whole week were a few feral Euros. “Ollie, the captain, knows the area back to front and I just hope it’s this quiet when we come back next year.”
Just Dreaming are now taking bookings for the 2011 season.
