On your marks, get set ... paddle.
Have you ever dreamed of spending a weekend at the Quiksilver Pro on the Gold Coast watching all the surf action from the pimp VIP area? If you’re a surf fanatic and can paddle with the best of them, here’s your chance.
Red Bull Heli Surf is offering six surfers the opportunity of a lifetime, but the prize will not be won easily. Hopefuls will be required to paddle their surfboard in a winner-takes-all sprint that will take place simultaneously at four NSW locations on Saturday 27 February and two Queensland locations on Saturday 6 March.
The first surfer to reach the Red Bull buoy from each of the six locations will be winched into the hovering Red Bull chopper. New South Wales winners will be flown to a mystery location to surf with big-wave legend Ross Clarke-Jones and score the VIP trip to the Quiksilver Pro.
Queensland winners will be choppered to Coolangatta airport, chauffeur-driven straight to the beach and escorted to their front-row, VIP seats at the Quiksilver Pro.
All winners will receive airfares and/or transport to and from the Gold Coast, accommodation, and VIP passes for March 6-7 to the Quiksilver Pro.

Newcastle / Curl Curl / Cronulla / North Wollongong
QLD - Saturday 6th March
Coolum / Surfers Paradise
