Gold Coast ironman and fitness guru Wes Berg helping Dusty Payne recover fro his ankle injury in early 2012.
Surfing quality-waves in a variety of conditions is key to becoming an excellent surfer. Ian Walsh shows how living on Maui has contributed to his ascent into surfing's elite by tackling a huge new swell with two signature sessions: one at Jaws and one in the classic barrels of Honolua Bay.
Brazilian Ricardo dos Santos and Tahitian Alain Riou will face Joel Parkinson and Kelly Slater in the first round, which is expected kick off early Friday morning.
Everything looks better when it's shot at a couple of hundred frames per second ... even the wipeouts.
A quiet beginning to this dramatic event.
A Pussycat (Doll), a Lynx and an actual cat go surfing. Oh, and Kelly goes a little bit goofy too.
A boat, a jetski, a fishing rod, a Yank and an Aussie all combined on a warm winter's day on an island north of the Gold Coast.
