The Oakley Blade II are the crème de la crème, the Holy Grail of trunktech. With a price tag to match the hype, they prompted extra-scrupulous examination from the start, but it wasn’t long before it was unanimously agreed that the Oakley Blade II are indeed an impressively engineered pair of surf shorts. Oakley are renowned for never compromising on the technical and  leading the way in originality and innovation. With the release of the Blade II they’ve more or less nailed every single detail.
The most notable feature is that they’re not one, but two pairs of shorts. A detachable compression short buttons to the inside of the external layer, to provide unrivalled rash protection. Nailing the elastic test, the O-Stretch lightweight and durable fabric also repels water at a molecular level, so if you’ve got the coin it would be hard to look past these boardies. Just as long as you’re happy rocking Cadelpants beneath your baggies.
