These boardies are all about their Hyperfreak fabric. It’s an 80% polyester, 20% elastane fusion that make these shorts stretch around even the most inverted, twisted and tweaked-out contortions of the knees, before springing back to the original form.

The S-shape side seam is inspired by the flowing seams on O’Neill wetsuits, allowing the shorts to move with your body when on a wave. The Hyperfreak have no inseams whatsoever, which prevents any chafing and discomfort when
sitting on your board or running back up the point.

Complete with a locking drawcord that’s been fused with a thermoplastic urethane pattern (TPU) to ensure your shorts will never come loose. These high-tech boardies from O’Neill do a thorough job of ticking all the boxes.
