Day one of the Billabong Pro Tahiti delivered what yesterday's free-surf session promised, and it was the goofy foot army who were finally able to put their best right foot forward.
"When I think of Chopes I think of it as basically Andy's spot" says Taj Burrow. The absence of the 2010 winner Andy Irons looms large for the surfers at the Billabong Pro Tahiti this year.
