Follow the Light Foundation winner, young aussie photographer, Duncan Macfarlane and a selection of his images
21 year-old Aussie photographer, Duncan MacFarlane, won this year's Follow The Light Foundation $5000 grant for surf photography in Huntington Beach overnight. As soon as the award was announced, Duncan chatted to Surfing Life, full of excitement and yet mixed with some personal sadness.
Joel Parkinson was knocked out of the Nike US Open of Surfing by Bobby Martinez, but Taj Burrow managed to eke out enough of a score in the tiny waves to progress through to Round 3.
